My handwriting's atrocious.

I left my MP3 plugged in all night (because the dark, especially the silent dark is freaking scary), and it's still got battery. Haha walau, I thought it could only live for 4 hours!

We've had 3 days of school and we already have homework!

First lessons in A level Psychology are apparently just sitting around talking about each other, and learning stuff about each other and some psychobabble and reading the textbook and discussing it and I am so so jealous because that's exactly what I imagined them to be like.

First lessons in A Level English Lit are so fun, no regrets at all, I'd have been bored to tears in History, seeing how bored I was with the homework and MrsK's teaching methods. Looking forward to first Lit lesson with Mr K next week, haha he's going to be hilarious.

I need to go to the bank.

New girls seem pretty nice, which is just about the safest word you can use to describe someone you don't really know yet but yeah, that's about all we know about them atm. Haha except for one mysterious girl who randomly uped and left on the 3rd day without saying good bye to anyone. Haha, one of those I don't fit in moments, I think. Ahwell, hope she does well in wherever she went to.

So far I've been a slacker of a prefect, doesn't feel much different from not being one except the teachers who actually know you're one expect you to be guai. HAHA like that makes any difference but yeah, whole different story once we get our badges, eh. Also, no duties so far so not looking forward to Monday, I'll have 2 shifts to carry out but then I'll be free for the rest of the week so yay xD I don't think my sec1 class knows who I am yet there's never actually been time to effect proper introductions but yeah, the teacher seems really good, will have fun working with her haha.

Young Enterprise seems like something I'd like to get involved in - they weren't joking when they said there'd be lots of opportunities in the 6th Form. Haha it's basically like IPW but more fun, it's kind of like really setting up your own business. But it'd require so much commitment, won't be able to get involved in anything much apart from that if I get in. Hmm.

Tiredddd. I'm trying to figure out whether it's STILL jetlag (which has never lasted this long before) or is it just the transition from holiday to school and sec4 to JC or sthing.

Treatment of 6th Formers is so so different from treatment we recieved 3 months ago in Sec4 which is taking SO much time to get used to because we're really being treated like adults most of us weren't prepared for how different and strange that'd be, especially because the teachers are all the same. There's so much freedom and everyone expects you to be independant and teachers aren't strict with you the way they're strict with sec school students and some are even scared of us I think. Hahaha. I mean, we're only 3 months older and we're being treated a completely different way it's like, WTH? Haha this is what being legal does to you.

I'm dying to watch Hairspray again, curse £7 tickets.

I have to do so much wider reading for English especially because I'm so far behind cos everyone started reading classics at age 10 while I succumbed to the wonders of Animal Ark which, come to think of it, was completely brainless and predictable and the rest of it. Hahaha ahwellllllll. We're doing Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier and poems by Carol Ann Duffy and Shakespere (everybody go woooooo!)and another play ughhh I hate reading plays they annoy me there isn't any point unless you want to actually act out the play. But Cold Mountain seems pretty good I'm on page 15. Haha. Oh & what I remember of the movie of David Copperfield by Dickens starts exactly the same way (as in, word for word) as the book, they must've lifted the entire passage. Why does that surprise me? Haha I dunno, just thought I'd say it because when I read it it sounded so familiar xD Haha apparently David Copperfield's Dickens' favourite book out of all that he's written which is really kind of intriguing in a very nerdy/book wormy way but yeah, I'm on page..23 I think? It's just like a typical Dickens, more personal I guess seeing as it's his (auto)biography.

Ohyeah we have 2 teachers per sub which is gonna be interesting, and very, very good considering how much more time we'll be spending on each subject than what we're used to staring at the same teacher for more than 3 hours a week would be a little uh, concentrated (HAHA essence of teacher: from concentrate) no matter how interesting the teacher was considering how much closer the relationship between students and teachers are in JC.

I realise I omited (sp?) alot of punctuation marks in that hahha oops, ahwelllll. xD Haha also, there're so few xDs in this post xD

We no longer have Richard as hockey coach. Instead we've got MsB who's the new p.e. teacher who incidentally is the form teacher of the sec1s I'm supposed to help which is good, at least it's someone I'm going to get to know. Haha.

Still haven't sung properly since ..the last lesson which was more than 3 months ago, am so glad I didn't try out for Sound of Music (this year's school play) auditions because it would've sucked and MrX is back, and he's freaking bias and I don't want to be in a play when he's co-directing. Haha my teacher'll kill me for my rustiness but ahwellll.

School's proving to be very exciting/nerve-wrecking/completely new & therefore needs alot of adjustment (pretend I hyphenated all that) so far it's gonna be an interesting year. Hope it settles down soon, but not too much because otherwise dullness would exist and that wouldn't be good. Mm. I like being busy.

Ok I better go read Cold Mountain going to Jess' house later with Cathy should be fun. xD KEEP IT UP EVERYONE! (: jia you hahaha xD
